Well you may have already seen on the club’s Facebook page, the amazing news that on Monday night, Reigate Priory Hockey Club won “Club of the Year” and Chris Mitchell was awarded “Volunteer of the Year” at the Reigate & Banstead Annual Sports Awards. To put this into perspective, there are a large number of c140 clubs and a vast number of volunteers in the Borough so these really are both great achievements for the Club and personally for Chris. We couldn’t have done this without our fantastic volunteers, players and supporters who have built up the club not just over the last year, but many many years so a massive thanks and well done to everyone.

We’ve got Club Presidents Day coming up on Sunday 14th October at the Clubhouse so we’ll bring the trophy down…and maybe Saturday too. It's also agreed that the club can purchase a few bottles of bubbles for Presidents Day so we can all celebrate our Club’s and Chris’s success all together.
