Dear Members of Reigate Priory Hockey Club,

We are delighted that you have chosen to support Stripey Stork for the 2026/27 Hockey Season.
Thank you very much for the wonderful start that you have made to your support – already the contribution that you have made will make a big difference to many families living in poverty in Surrey and Croydon.

Thank you very much for the donation of £474.85 from your first social of the season and President’s Day. It was very generous of all the people who contributed to this amazing total. The money that you donated to support Stripey Stork will enable us to buy 47 new mattresses to go in preloved Moses baskets that have been donated. Safety guidelines recommend a new mattress for every baby to avoid safety concerns, so we always have to purchase these new. Your kind donations will enable us to do this and mean 47 children will be able to sleep safely and comfortably.

Thank you also for the large collection of preloved donations that you contributed to Stripey Stork. We could not believe that you managed to collect 70 warm coats and 650 lovely books – so many of you must have taken time to have a sort out and locate these fantastic items to donate to another family. The coats arrived at the perfect time, just as we are getting more requests for warm coats. Our volunteers were also delighted to see the books and they are already being used and sent out to families. It was great that the books covered lots of different ages and genres so that we can find appropriate books for hundreds of different children. When I was speaking to a referral partner a couple of weeks ago, she particularly mentioned how delighted a child she works with had been to
receive their very own book. All these wonderful items that you donated to Stripey Stork will bring happiness to many families.

With warmest thanks and best wishes to you all,
Millie Jaspert
