Polecats U12s and parents abandoned their early morning lie in for an 08:30 meet at East Grinstead Hockey club. I can say that the new pitch looks particularly beautiful in the early morning sunshine and I wouldn't be surprised if it features in the next edition of East Sussex's top 10,000 tourist attractions.

Despite the early start All 22 Girls( yes thats 22) were full of enthusiasm.
Divide into our 3 tournamnet sides Polecats ,Ferrets and Weazels the girls played a series of seven aside games.

All the sides played some attractive hockey and showed some postive developement throughout the morning with set pieces and passing all improving.
We scored a few goals and even contributed to East Grinsteads lost property mountain-(lorna Mcg)
