It was our first game against Woking HC away and the game was very late in the day. Reigate took a lead in the first half with great pass from Thomas leading to goal by Alex. Just after half time we had the first goal for Faizan after connecting to a cross into the hockey D. Really good to see this coming together and good result. The defence worked very well with both Jacob and Rohan leading from the centre and making the essential link to the forwards whilst covering the Woking Attack.
Woking managed to pull a goal back in the second half but Reigate sealed the result with a flick into the net by Mark Tarrant with really good passing attack.
A really good game of hockey where the team connected and the short corner practise really came together. We asked a lot of the players to play out of position but it was great to see them working as one.
